Bell Atlantic Latest Telco to Offer Internet Access
The Philadelphia-based Baby Bell,is aiming at both business and residential customers. For the consumer and small businesses market, the price for unlimited Internet access will be $19.95 per month--the same as both AT&T and MCI are charging--and $6.95 for five hours per month, beginning next month.
Yahoo! - Millionaires
Jerry Yang, 27, and David Filo, 29. became instant multimillionaires as Yahoo! went public, shooting up 230% at one point and reaching $43 in the opening rounds of trading. Friday, the value of their holdings hit $185 million each at one point. The company ended the day with a market capitalization of nearly $1 billion.
Netcom On-Line Communications Services passed 400,000
The service is priced at $19.95 monthly for unlimited Internet access, a figure that jibes with most other dial-up Internet access bids, including late ISP entrants AT&T, WorldNet and MCI.
Among independent Internet access providers, Netcom leads PSINet and EarthLink, which each sport roughly 100,000 subscribers apiece.

Web Feetures offers a comic strip called World of Weasels and games called Alphabyte Soup and Take a Hint. Offerings, which require Macromedia's multimedia Shockwave add-on for Netscape, are e-mailed to clients with prices starting at $15 a week and escalating depending on traffic.
